Beyond Beyond the pockets full of stone Sticks and other things unknown Below the scruffy head of hair Beneath the bandaged knee somewhere The hanging shirtail out of place And scuffed up sneakers still unlaced Beyond the peanut butter face There is an angel full of grace Elizabeth Santos |

Elizabeth~ This is just the most precious little thing I've read today. Put a smile on this mommy's face ... had lots of those little peanut butter faces in my day. Love ya' to pieces ! ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

All little boys are the same This one made me smile There are enough colours in the world, To paint your own dreams, You won't get them, Till you try. |

Liz; Delightful! I have a 4 year old grandson and this is a perfect picture of him. love, Ellie Summers haunting melody that awakens the butterflies, calling them to join the dance in their silent song of praise to God. eL |

Yes, this is for everyone who has ever been or loved a little boy. Add my smile to the rest. To love another person is to see the face of God. - Les Miserables Marilyn |

Elizabeth, these are well-writ couplets and I'm chuckling at the pictures you created...Peanut butter face, the who-knows-what-else found in pockets. So cute ...chanson~ Music, tonal clear & pure, Caresses the harshest of curves. -me, Song of Gesture |

Thank you all for your comments. I raised 3 sons and a daughter(completely different) and now I have 4 grandsons. It's amazing what comes out of those pockets! I just love little boys Liz |
