The sun was setting for the day And life was seemingly okay. Time was free, I hadn't a care Mostly because my parents weren't there. I had come back from the wilderness In a quiet state of bliss. I was so ecstatic that I sang-- Next thing I know, the telephone rang. I cannot say all that was said, Only that it spun my head; Things I could not understand, When the truth I did demand. The words I heard cut deep in my heart, And I felt my world being torn apart. So much happening at the same time... And yet there was no warning, no sign. Truths can heal, or cause great pain, But what is driving me insane Is that right now I'm not too sure What is true, what's real, what's pure... I'd never thought a single call Could cause my built-up strength to fall To cause my entire world to shake, And, for a time... My heart to break. But I still love her, always will Though it may put me through the mill In my mind and in my heart, Of which she'll always be a part. Someone who outclasses me By far and wide, for all to see Has found the gift I treasure so; They love each other, from what I know. So please forgive these whining words, Though they may just sound absurd. This is a record of the quake That caused my entire world to shake. Sam Reinsford |

I'm so sorry for your pain, Sam. I've been there and know how much it hurts. In time the pain will lessen and hope will spring forth again....it really will. In the meantime.....feel free to vent your pain...HUGS Denise |

Dear Sam; I'm so sorry that you have to go through this pain, you certainly don't deserve it. Denise is right, time will heal. We all love you here, and support you. Thanks everyone for your replies, for some reason it makes me feel a lot better knowing that others know of my problem...and definitely a picker-upper that I have friends here.
