Fields ripe for harvest Cornucopia pressed full, June memory fades Autumn moon o'er fields Moonbeams kiss sun ripened fruit, Crisp chill in the air Busy hands gather The treasures from laden fields Harvest Jubilee |

OH Dennis; These Haikus' are superb indeed! You captured the essence of falls' harvest and made it all come alive, so much so, that I could smell the burning leaves and taste the pumpkin pie! "The King of Haiku Reigns"! Love, Sis |

Love these Dennis, I love the fall, and I could almost feel the chill that will be coming soon as I read these. Bonnie |

How wonderful the beauties of each season, which make us fade in our enjoyments of the former and desire the richness of present or coming. You have richly captured here the beauties of the coming season, and pictured them in a very desirable way! Thank you, David WOW- another day of life-and here among friends! Ain't God Grand! |

Ellie, You are way to kind! Thanks! Bonnie, each season has its charms, thanks for your reply. David, thank you for your thoughtful observations, and kind words! Marcy, Fall is not my favorite season, nor my least favorite.....It falls somewhere in the middle, yet its charm sings to this poet! Kaile, Thank you for your thoughtful comments. About your suggestion, how about this: Sun parched, barren fields Reapers idle, seek new work Farmers weep in debt Thanks for your wonderful replies my friends! |
