we speak

we hear
  but do not listen
we look
  but do not see
we touch
  but do not feel
we love

VL,
How strange this common circumstance of close alienation-even more distressing than feeling all alone in a sea of strangers!
You've atddressed the matter well.   David

Yes, this an oft too frequent sadness. It shouldn't happen but when people think too much and touch too little...

I loved the honest humanity of this...

oh yes...'tis very sad...too much time
spent on material things, and not enough
time spent on each other.  i'm sure you
make much more of life than this...that's
