Tracing Time Your simple fingers tracing time circling the days and the heat. 'Round trees in fields and dragonfly wings. Wishing the water had come. Longing for nights catching freckles in a jar. Sending rings of hope to the edge of sandy cliffs. Tracing time in a cloud, in a dream, in the way. |
