Destiny's Star When the earth is bathed in moonbeams And children have laid down to dreams I slip outside in search of a special star Wondering if you can see it from where you are There it is shining ever so bright A beacon to my heart each night Constant and true way up above I fill it with thoughts of my love It twinkles with a message from my heart I wonder if you'll get it, we're so far apart… Does a star ever speak to you Whispering that this love is true? Our destiny was cast in the stars one night Loving you is real, meant to be, right I close my eyes and make a wish Hoping you'll come to realize this Though we are not now together It will not be that way forever One day we will be side by side With one special star as our guide |
