WOW. these thoughts cross my mind alot i wonder if part of me is writing epitaphs silently how safe am i how vulnerable i wonder silently the word fragile always seems to on the tip of tongue when writing. Where are we truely safe. Your poem made me want to curl up and hibernate. excellent poem. ------------------------ "I've been too honest with myself I should have lied like everybody else"-Richey Edwards "Take nothing but pictures. I think like Brian we all get these thoughts, and sometimes are afraid to step outside our own safe little world. Brief but powerful. Jon |

I think we all get a little fearful when we step out of our comfort zone. Vulnerability is such a scary emotion.I hope you find the courage to overcome it. Poetry~ Words falling on paper, painting a dream. Shawna R. Holder Boise, Idaho |

how safe am i in my little world where belief is part of me Wow, dg! This is a question I've been struggling with for a while now. When your beliefs are challenged, you have the choice to hide behind them and not think about it (stay safe), or to examine them, and either make them stronger or change them (take a risk). These are indeed deep thoughts. To love another person is to see the face of God. - Les Miserables Marilyn |

take each acorn you gather, plant them deep, safely and with care, they will grow strong and majestic, with branches to shield you from the elements. roots to hold you fast, and a home to roost your dreams. |
