~The Happy Whistler~ The happy whistler walks alone on the beach among seashells and seaoats he whistles a song as the ocean breeze carries the tune to seagulls flying high He curiously peers up at the bright blue sky and stops to babble in aimless chatter no rhyme or reason in the matter no discernment of the things his mind conceive's With great joy he continues his tune knowing somehow it's a happy song A few people slowly walk by as the happy whistler bends their ear they pretend not to see or hear the mystery of the reason too sad for some yet, he sees no need for tears happy as a lark, he waves his banner high as he whistles his favorite unknown tune gee, to be as happy as he BloomingRose |

yes, we should all remember that when people are humming, whistling or singing [even off key], they have a perfect right to be exhibiting that kind of happiness... and hopefully, some of it will rub off... I enjoyed this Deb... Karilea If I whisper, will you listen?...KRJ |

Denise~ Thanks Ellie~ thanks I am glad you like it Marcy~ Hope it brings joy to some who are shy about expressing their feelings Sunshine~ Thanks, that's really my point. We need to take note that people who appear to be "different", can exhibit joy from a pure heart, not tainted by a cold hard world. A lesson we can learn, if we are willing to see through their eyes. |
