A Grain of Sand

Who am I that God should hear
The prayers I utter through the year?
I am but a grain of sand,
But still a part of what He's planned.
He counts each grain and knows that we
Together, make a mighty sea
Of people who revere His ways
And raise our voices, filled with praise.
For who He is and what He's done.
For love so great, He gave His Son,
That we may all receive the choice,
To walk with Him and hear His voice!

Betty, this is beautiful! Yes,we are all but a grain of sand, but the good news is that God holds every grain of sand, and watches over us with His love. All who come to Jesus, come to Him and He loves and cares for us, each grand of sand, each moment of each hour, each hour of each day, dopping none! He loves you very much! Your writing is beautiful and very heart warming. Thanks for sharing it with us.
Hugzz and love Annette

Keith:  Thank you for reading and appreciate your comments.  I always say "God guides my pen" and when someone tells me they were moved by a poem I've written, I find it is greatly rewarding.

How very beautiful this was, and I found I had to read it a couple of times, once silent, then aloud - then I smiled.  Thank you for a warm moment in time.

This is so inspirational thank you!! and you are right, we see ourselves like maybe something really small and insignificant to God, but truth is that we are His all and He loves us with such might.

Betty, this is so beautiful. It is so comforting and humbling to know that even as a teeny tiny grain of sand, God loves us dearly and unconditionally.
