Below the Firmament

While watching clouds that cross the sky,
A rising column caught my eye.
Upon it's top, three figures seen.
The one in front appears to lean
Against a wall that is waist high.
With arms braced, watches all go by.
He looks so strong, I'm sure I can
See the outline of a man,
With two behind who also peer
Across his shoulders, standing near.
There is a feeling they're intent
On what's below the firmament.

It's just a cloud shape yet I see
A similarity to He
Who surely watches us with love
From His view point high above!
It doesn't fade, but then, at last,
Another cloud mass slides on past
To hide the shapes I focused on
And when it passes, they are gone!
I wonder if sometimes He stands
To watch the vast parade of lands
That travel round the sun each day
And counts the ones who kneel to pray!

Trillium,

It's nice to know that another dreamer has their mind upon the clouds...  After all we are to be looking up for our Salvation draws near.  It is awe inspiring indeed to try and imagine how GOD must see the world.  Very nicely written verse.  GOD bless.  -Bob

Joyce:  Thanks for your comments.  I really did see a cloud formation that looked as I described it.  Really was awesome!

Bob:  Thank you for your nice comments. The sky will likely be the first place His coming maifests itself.  I can't even imagine what that will be like!

Oh there have have been times I thought I saw an angel in the clouds, and I too would like to think there is someone in the clouds watching us.  This was lovely and spiritually moving.

There is nothing means more to me than
my faith, my family and my friends.

Mysteria:  Thanks for responding.  I'm a sky and cloud watcher and like you, often see things I think have a spiritual source.
