Strengthen Me

Lord on you I place my hands,
Grant that I might touch your face.
I’m not worthy of your love,
So I depend upon your grace.

For those tears that I’ve caused,
That now run down your cheek.
Please forgive me I do plead,
I was wrong, I am so weak.

Hold me close that I might hear,
The heart of Him who beats for me.
Rock me now as I cry,
For the scars I plainly see.

I’m unworthy I confess,
There are others that say so.
They only say in part,
The truth I fully know.

Bear for me my burdens now,
I’m so tired and weary worn.
I’m afraid and doomed you know,
My only hope to be reborn.

Birth me now anew,
For my claim upon your grace.
Strengthen me for day to day,
That this world I might face.

God listens. sometimes what he says back isn't what we want to hear, and sometimes we're not listening hard enough, and sometimes the answer's no. but He listens, and He hears you.
this time, i think your answers are largely in Open.
can you doubt that He's listening, when He replies like that? you have more friends than you may have realized

I knew I had many friends...I just never expected or understood what wonderful friends they truly are. I am overwhelmed. Thank you and how grateful I am that He has always listened and He has told me no before.

How many times have I cried out before the Lord the same way ~~deep sigh~~ Isn't it incredible the way he listens, then picks us up, dusts us off and hugs us?
