Wind Whispered Fields
~*~
I stand on a windy hill
and see the wind whispered fields
alive in yellow daffodils
Oh that I could go there!
I close my eyes
And angels carry me high in the sky
To touch the golden sun
And finger paint the sky
A simple verse
Written in red
I LOVE YOU
For the blood he shed
If only you would believe...
You can go there too!
So run with me to the fields
The harvest is plenty
And the fields are ready

Deb.

I love the freedom that your poem represents to run through those beautiful daffodil fields ready for the harvest. A most lovely vision.  -Bob

Lovely, lovely, lovely!

Have you heard the contemporary gospel song, "Written in Red"? It's one of my absolute favorites.

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.

Bob~ Thank you kind friend.

Vas~ Yes I have heard the song, and like it very much. The version I have heard is sung by Janet Paschal.
I thank you for your nice comments.
