I put them in the vase last night as stick-like ugly things.
This morning they are glorious, as if they've sprouted wings.
So many things we could dismiss as having little worth,
In just one shining moment shows a promise and re-birth.
The most attractive stranger could be one of Satan's spies
And he who is more humbly wrapped, God's angel in disguise.

(smiles) Oh my gosh, daffodils are one of my favorite flowers, I love them, and I know that every living thing of any size or significance can always heal and live on as He will grace our world with His love and light always! (kiss on cheek) This is wonderful, sweet friend, we all love you so much! You have such a beautiful heart, sweet Joyce, thank you for sharing!

May love and light always shine upon you!

Joyce,

A beautiful parrallel are your daffodils I believe to the nature of Christ as told in Isaiah 53 where Christ is compared to a plant with no beauty that we might desire Him...  But, I love what happens to your daffodils in your poem in the morning.  Oh, yes I do believe when we least expect them, those ugly sticks of flowers shall sprout wings indeed.  GOD bless you.  -Bob

Joyce, this has to be the best of yours I've ever read! The flow is absolutely superb and the potency of the message if fantastic. May I share?  May I copy for myself, and if God ever helps me get a printer again, print it out in large print and frame for my wall?
email me, please

Whether on the shoal or on the shore,
I'll seek the lighthouse evermore.
