Growing Wings

GOD floats the little seed
And watches it with care
For you see to GOD such seeds
To Him are very rare.

GOD finds the perfect soil
Where elders gather 'round
For such seeds fall from their pleas
To root in fertile ground.

GOD plants the seed just right
And not too dense nor deep
For above GOD sends His Love
To watch o'er as it sleeps.

GOD brings the seed to spring
Where showers soak the ground
And the seed wakes from its sleep
To find that warmth abounds.

GOD makes the seed to sprout
And look up to the sky
For GOD knows for seeds to grow
They need to praise most high.

GOD moves the sprout to bloom
As nature starts to sing
For GOD's Grace has taken place
When a child grows its wings.

It is a shame that not all seeds find fertile ground. They still need the Master Gardener to nurture them and help them grow. You will not find Him till you seek as a Child... but even children as young as 90 can find Him if they seek thus. I enjoyed your poem.
