There, On the Mount

Astonished
Amazed
Dumbfounded~
in awe,
they listened.
His word
rose from the Mount.

He spoke,
not as a prophet,
nor merely a teacher,
but
with authority~
not weakened by doubt,
not diluted
by life’s living,
not watered down
for ears to hear,
nor fragility of
humanness.

Yet as
Teacher,
Messiah,
God Incarnate,
fulfilling His law,
professing
love’s fulfillment,

bestowing Salvation,
forgiveness.
Personified
in immaculate flesh,
profound.

Living the Way,
knowing the Way,
proclaiming
Divinity
in its fullness.

I love this style of your writing. Each word so uniquely emphasized. As I am certain, the Word that came from the Mount was also.
