Beacon of Light

When you're sitting in the darkness
Reach out and find the light
Open God's precious word
and restore your spiritual sight

When you feel you've been abandoned
and you long for family and home
Just reach for the loving hand of God
He will never leave you alone

Feel the prayers being lifted up
Let His grace overflow your cup
For His mercy you already received
in that moment you first believed

Count each day as a gift to witness
May Christ's light be a beacon in you
That other's might see His goodness
and know that His word is true

May the spirit of God within you
strengthen and renew your soul
Then your life shattered in pieces
by His love will be made whole
