in the darkness all alone and afraid the tears fall one by one a memory contained in each the times that I lied or used you name in vain the sin of lust the shame of disgrace the fear of letting go all the times I asked for forgiveness and swore to try and change and everytime I went back to sin everytime I forgot Your name but the most tears fall when I remember when and innocent man gave his life so that me and You could one day embrace just like a Father and daughter should. Allstaria22, what a wonderful thought, just embrace. I like your Bible reference, Isaiah 1:18: "Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool." I feel the same way. Such heartfelt expressions of the ultimate Father and child relationship .... It is a blessing to know that when we confess our sin that He is faithful and just to forgive us and to think about His sacrifice on the cross still brings tears to my eyes even today.
