dedicated to all who pray for the salvation of another. In a Mirror Dimly in a mirror dimly one day face to face come the blessings of the Lord as we run this race yet, sometimes not an inkling is given to our eyes blessings of the Lord may come in great disguise much as the two were walking, with Jesus by their sides, they did not recognize Him though He could feel their sighs then when it was time He melted the scales that hid the view He broke the bread and raised the cup then disappeared on cue amazed, in deep awe, they gazed across the floor deeply into their eyes His presence was no more yet fully, ever fully was each of them aware the Son of God, the Christ Himself, had without a doubt been there ©November 16, 2001 Whether on the shoal or on the shore, |

I'm sure there are many times Jesus has walked with us and we never knew! Wonderful poem. Betty Lou Hebert |

Very well put. Althought familiar with that biblical account, I never really related it to my not recognizing Him as He walks with me. You've helped remove some scales from my eyes. ![]() Thank you, Rae |

Virginia; What a wonderful poem. I am sure there are many blessings the Lord bestows that we are too blind to see. Yet, He remains faithful, He cannot be any other way, because He is unchangable. I am so grateful for the day He removed the spiritual scales from my eyes, and I saw my need. Thank you for writing and posting this..It certainly is a reminder of that day, and also a reminder of the need to pray God will remove the scales from those who are still spiritually blinded. VAS, Gosh, I love this scripture.... GOD does have a sense of humor does He not to change His form (Mark 16:12) and to act like a complete stranger as He urged the two to expounded on His own death and resurrection? (Luke 24:13-32) Yes, we can never be quite sure in what form GOD might dwell among us.... -Bob [This message has been edited by Lighthousebob (edited 11-17-2001).] |
