Searching your eyes,
I understand why,
you never laugh,
you only cry.

Your afraid,
afraid of the past,
afraid of those feelings,
praying they dont last.

Words are no comfort,
They wont take away,
The fear and the pain,
He left that day.

I just want to help,
I want to understand,
Please just let me help you,
Let me hold your hand.

I am not him,
Im not here to hurt you,
Ill stay with you forever,
Just to see this through.

Your not different to me,
youre still who you were,
Ill never give up,
I need you to believe i care.

Ill be here forever,
no matter what you do,
Im standing by your side,
Because friend, I love you.

THIS POEM WAS INSPIRED BY THE FAITH INVESTED IN ME BY A VERY GOOD FRIEND, NO MATTER HOW HARD I TRY TO PUSH HER AWAY SHE STILL COMES BACK WITH OPEN ARMS AND MAKES ME FEEL SAFE AGAIN, THE WORDS ARE INSPIRED BY THE MANY TIMES SHE HAS TRIED TO CONVINCE ME I AM WORTH SO MUCH AND NO MATTER WHAT, SHE'LL ALWAYS CARE. A friend in need is a friend indeed. You know, I thought friends were kinda like angels in the flesh... Anyway, a few of my friends I thought were angels until I got to know them a little better then I realized that they were just really nice people. Good poem about a really nice person. -Bob

True friends are rare and when things really go wrong, that's when you find out who they are! Nice tribute to your good friend.
