Can Two Walk Together Can two walk together, except they be agreed Can two walk together if both want to lead Two can walk together with hearts as one Two can walk together if they walk in unison Can two walk together and serve the Lord It is possible if they are of one accord Can two walk together in love each day It is possible if they will daily pray Can two walk together in God’s light To do so, they must keep their hearts aright Can two walk together in God’s wisdom Yes, if the fear of the Lord is not burdensome Can two walk together redeeming the time They can if they will make the sacrificial climb Can two walk together in the truth of God’s Word To do so, truth around their waist, they must gird Can two walk together to the very end They can if they are each other’s best friend Two can walk together in heaven’s glory if they’ve applied the truths of the gospel story Written by, Wanda |

Joyce; I wrote this poem as a bridal gift for a young lady who was getting married. The Lord has given guidelines for our marriages; (Ephesians 5:22-33) sadly, many couples do just as you stated in your reply. There will never be a happy married couple with both husband and wife wanting to lead. Thank you for reading and replying. Wanda |

A couple needs to do these things...unfortunately I had to learn the hard way, but there is always hope for tomorrow that we can rectify and try again...and this time I will follow the Lord's advice...thanks for the poem it was inspiring... Lets Love one another and let God do the worrying, |

Rodney; I can certainly understand what you are saying. When my husband and I were married neither of us were believers; it took some hard bumps in the road for us too. Thankfully, our lives were changed. I can promise you, "There is hope for you too." Thanks for your comments. Wanda |
