The garden basked beneath the sun. A little boy, his nap time done, Picked up his bubble jar and found A secret place. No one around And there he blew to his delight And watched the bubbles float from sight. Then many of them filled the air. He turned around to see from where They might have come and it was grand! There stood a lovely angel band. Now each one had a pipe of gold. It was a pleasure to behold, For as they blew their shining globes, The sunlight shimmered on their robes. They smiled at him and he could see They plied their pipes most happily. He clapped his hands when they were done, To see those angels having fun! This is such a delightful, playful poem! It gave me a big smile and a chuckle at the vision of it all. How sweet! ![]() <*\\\>< |

WhtDove and Joyce: Thank you both for your nice comments. I watched my son blowing big bubbles one day and the thought came to me, that angels might enjoy that too. Betty Lou Hebert |
