The first poem written
here in my garden,
on this first day of May.

The Dogwood tree blooming,
in all her wondrous glory,
after a long harsh winter.

The fullness of this beauty
fills my heart and soul
with all the wonder
of God's eternal promise.

I am at peace
and
in love
with Him!

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

Isn't spring the most beautiful joyous season?  My grandkids are begining to  say, "Yes, Grandma, I see the magnolia, (or forsythia, or jonquils, etc." before I get the chance to say, "Wow! Look at those beautiful blooms on...(whatever)."  They're all too great to pass up sharing.  I really relate to your poem.  Lovely.
Thank you,    Rae

I did enjoy this and yearn for some signs of spring here.  It snowed last night and we continue to have hail and rain as well, with thunderstorms thrown in for "bad" measure!

Ellie I'm so glad your garden is back! I know how much you missed it through the winter.

With the new blooms, brings new inspiration and new hope in your poems.
