Your challenge read, I gave some thought
To all the changes God has wrought
Within my life and family.
He always knows what's best for me
And guides my steps, affects my goals.
My heart eternally extols
The wonder of His presence here.
He challenges, but keeps me near
To help me in the tasks He's set.
I'll never pay the mounting debt
I owe to Him for all he deeds,
Not just to me, whoever needs!
With God as Lodestone, Saviour, Star,
He watches over from afar
And sends us helpers we can't see,
But still they serve us faithfully.
He is the glue that keeps me whole.
He is the Keeper of my soul,
Who hears my every little cry.
He lives and therefore, so do I!
