There once was a man on a cross
Who died to hold back the chaos
His life did he give
So we could all live
To dignify such a great loss

(been writing limericks lately, so here's one for all of you.  Hope you enjoyed it.  ~Allan  )

This is a great message no matter what form it's written in.  Good limerick!

Wonderful!

A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails.

This was great, and I did enjoy it! Thanks.
(nice pic btw)   Was just wondering what you looked like.

I love limericks, just not too good at writing them.   maybe that's our next challenge. See you are an inspiration.

Very good, To be able to write a limerick about such a sacred subject is talent.  Joyce

I love limericks, too. Use em, if you got em.
Praise GOD.
We were once God’s satisfaction,
Then we lost our compassion.
But for what we lack,
He’ll take us back.
If we ask for exoneration.

This is a refreshing twist in Spiritual, and says so much in so few words.  Good work.  Thanks for sharing.

Allan,

This was so good.  You inspired a sequel from my own pen... hope you don't mind.  You spoke of Jesus' sacrifice for us, I described the other side of the coin.

Stephen.
