Nimrod Ben Kush - occupation - Hunter - Monarch. Pride goeth before destruction. NO FINER EAMPLE OF THIS! "No power like unto Nimrod, EXCEPT GOD!" God looking down from His Eternal Window. Laughing Hysterically. "Nimrod, you call that a tower. Son that's a joke!" Then came down in the peaceable manner. The talk afterwards? "Hand me a nail somebody." "Oui Oui Senor, Parelez Vous Espanol?! Something like that. |

Ha! ....and thus "Tongues" had it's great beginnings and brought mankind into obedience with God..... I always find humor in this Bible story. A real life depiction of a "one world" leader to come in the mind set of Satan himself.... "I will rise to a place that is above God!!!" How foolish of Nimrod to think that way...... How wise is our beloved Saviour!!! Bob <>< |

That picture of God looking from His eternal window really gave me a chuckle. As I'm sure He does the same when He looks upon some of the blunders we make. ![]() <*\\\>< I know not what the future holds, but I know Who holds the future. I don't question YOUR existance - GOD |
