(Based on Matthew 18:20 and Hebrews 2:10-13) Where two or three are gathered There in the Savior's Name, You might not have seen Him But be sure that another come. The one who sanctifies us To be God's People here, Is not ashamed of His Brethren But rather, holds us near and dear. We as His Possession His body and family, He joyously identifies Himself Happy to God for you and me. Thus when we come to praise Him And only a few turn out, Remember, He too, is present So just praise Him with a shout! Praise God in the Highest From Whom all Blessings flow, Be thankful that we have Jesus with us And do all to make it show! No Better Place do I know Than where Hearts knit as one, For in that grand experience, The Better ALL become. God Bless us All!!! |

Very fine! Puts me in mind, well the last line did, to the young people today. During children's moments, three were fighting vehemently over who would hold the handle to the wagon they were going to pull down the aisle to accept gifts for mission's offering. The man who was giving the c.m. had to intervene so the disagreement would be over. Then those same three children joined the young people's ensemble and sang a song, Show and Tell, which was about showing the world how much one loved Jesus and telling them, too. Yep, they were little children, one 3rd grader and the other two 6th graders. Yet how much are we too often just like them. Showing non-brotherly love, while professing loving God. Pardon me for going on and on, I think I just felt like I wanted to express these thoughts about today and your poem brought it up again to the front of my thinking. |

david, this is so true and expressed so well. It only takes two to agree and his will be done. He is with those of us who seek Him and He will guide us in His Holy way. so inspiring as well. Love, Ellie A friend hears the song in my heart, and sings it to me when my memory fails. |

David, Your poem compliments the scriptures you have chosen very well.... We are certainly priviledged to acknowledge Jesus in our midst wherever we go....... It's wonderful that God is with us. Praise the Lord!!!!! Bob <>< |
