No sun-rise today
there's only a cloudy sky

This is a heartwarming piece. It brings to mind the entry in Ann Frank's Diary, who experience the Nazi atrocities. She said, "I believe in God, even when the sun is not shining" or something very similar to that.
The Son-shine in the heart can enlighten & warm one of the darkest coldest days.

Lovely, lovely, and that's from where the true Son comes. Today, we have a 2nd glorious sunny day in a row, again with a patch of blue the size of Texas overhead. Small town, shor buildings, levelish land allows for wondrous big sky!

Enjoyed your tanka, tanka very much! sorry, couldn't resist!

but we are heading to Disneyland tomorrow with the kids....
