I knew the time was coming,
well, now the day is here.
I'm leaving late tomorrow,
for a place I once held dear.

To many stresses this holiday,
I can't handle being at home.
I just needed a place where I
could gently wonder and roam.

I have to do some thinking,
spend some time alone.
Enjoy the sweetness of nature,
that I was once shown.

After all the streeses of this holiday, my family thought it would be best if I went and stayed with my aunt. She lives in a very wooded area, with creeks and streams, and my mother thought it best if I went there and took some time to realax. I don't know when I'll be back, but hopefully it won't be too long.

Ah, try to have a relaxing time, Lynn. Enjoy the peaceful surroundings and let time do its work to heal your heart. I will miss you while you are gone. Take care of yourself.

Lovely poem, Lynn.

Lynn - Beautiful words.

If you have serenity to find
rest assured you will ...
in the beauty of the woods
where your heart will be stilled.

The pen of nature
will write your rhymes at will.
Hurry back, when you are full
we'll be waiting for you still.

We will look for you
on the rising of the sun.
Rest, find yourself ...
and to us return.
