Betcha Can't Write Just One ~Marge Tindal~ 1999 I open the bag, the poems come. I'm willing to bet I can't write just one ! Salted with tears, sometimes they are. They come by the handful, they're just what they are. Sometimes hot and spicy, I really do like those. Betcha' can't read just one before the fire goes. Once in a while they're strong enough to dip. Hope you'll find the voice to give my poems zip. Morsels so delicious, they fill my heart with glee. Betcha' I couldn't write just one for the very life of me. I hope you like my poems, delivered with a flair. Betcha' can't read just one of the thoughts I bare. The special this week, two for the price of one !
