I am a fool
in no great disguise
I let you lie
right befor my eyes
not once nor twice
but constantly
thought you were nice
or assumed you'd be
I believed
you cared for me
so how could you
simply let me go
off to no where
I dont know
what did i do
to deserve this thrust
where is the heart
I learned to trust
where is the friendship
everlasting
not that attitude
downcasting
why did you lead me
so deep in love
how could you use
such words of love
who was that man
not the coward befor me
not the sword
slashing me away
till you cut me to shreds
and step over them
as if I was not there
never in your heart
never in your laughter
never in your plans
never in your arms
never crying for you
never your head upon my chest
never again will I have whats best
never again will it be right
all that is left - endless night
