The 'Not-Me' Monster ~Marge Tindal~ 1999 When my kids were young and small, The 'Not-Me' Monster came to call. No matter what the problem, they'd always shout with glee ... Not me ! Not me ! Not me ! Through all the years of 'Who-dun-its', I never did find out ... exactly where the 'Not-Me' Monster hung out. In the blinking of an eye, they were gone, full-grown. Now each of them have a 'Not-Me' Monster of their own ! I laugh when I hear the antics as they find something to blame ... on The 'Not-Me' Monster... who still has no other name ! ------------------ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Well, maybe your kids were like that....but "Not me?"...Of course I was an exceptional child, never into mischief..Just a perfect angel. Very cute poem.....brings back memories....(my brothers were always saying "Not me"....Toerag done it! |

Toe - Well, your brothers were probably right! Toe did it ! Toe did it ! The 'No-Toe' Monster did it ! Suthern - You're right ... I think it IS Toe. And to think ...
