Poets A - Z
~Marge Tindal~ 1999

Alwye by morning.
Balladeer by night.
Corrine for the heck of it.
Denise to get it right.

Elizabeth for fun.
Free Byrd is my treasure.
Gunslinger when I'm hungry.
Hoot just for pleasure.

Isis when I'm sailing.
Justin Thyme for a trip to the mall.
Kevin in the summer.
Lolita in the fall.

Michael for the moment.
Nindy8 in the nick of time.
Ohme in the country.
Pepper for my rhyme.

Quentin for the opera.
RobertB for the rodeo.
Seymour when I'm dining.
Toe for the dough.

Urendimaleldil when I'm moody.
Vandana when I'm blue.
Watcher666 when I'm dancing.
XAngel when I'm singing too.

Yoin for the romantic in me.
Zombie Man is my finale.

Of all the poets
from A-Z,
None can hold a candle
to thee.
---------------------------------------------
*If you weren't listed, it's only because I ran out of alphabet. Could easily start another with the wonderful friends I've found here. Thanks to ALL of you for welcoming me into the fold.

Hoot - Just took a few minutes of pleasure, remembering poet friends.
Just felt bad that I couldn't find room for all of them.
Hope no one gets their feelings hurt at being left out.
I LOVE YOU ALL !

Marge,
It was a charge
To read the names at large
To say the very least,
It was a wonderful piece.

XAngel - A list of friends that you belong in.
Balladeer - You flatter me with your praise.
Far from 'letter perfect', but if you want to think so ... far be it from me to dissuade you from that belief.

Albeit an ode of excellence,
I admit that I did wince,
When I espied Justin Thyme,
Included in your pretty rhyme.
What of the 'toons or dear Snow White?
Beware of Cratchet and her bite.

Wonderful poem btw.

Isis - Thank you. We've actually met many times upon the poets pages. I read, I read, I read.
WWOTE- Thanks, I think !

I fear the lack of alphabet
would be the only reason
that the characters of the 'toons'
were not available for this season.

I fear not the Cratchet
or her host of ninny's.
You must have genius to enter the 'Stute'
and I'm afraid I haven't any !

I guess I got here Justin Thyme
to thank you for my name in rhyme!
It doesn't make much sense to me,
that I was chosen for the "T".

No WAIT! I wasn't letter "T"!
No, I was "J". WOW! That was ME?
You are too kind, dear Marge Tindal,
to ABC me here and all!

I guess you didn't have another
"J"? (I wonder where's my brother?).
Well, anyway, it feels real fine
to be a letter, be a line...

In your poem, Marge! I thank you, but,
I wonder why you chose THIS nut?

Now, Justin Thyme ...
I chose you because
not only did you start with J
but so does JUST BECAUSE.

So Justin Case
you get to wondering
about my little rhyme
I Justin Formed you that
you are a friend of mine !

What an inventive idea! And a cool poem to boot! Fun to see all the different names you used!

I'm sorry that this is irrelevant, but this made me think of "Mambo #5"...

Thank you, Marge (Can I call you Marge?) That's very kind of you! I'm just a reader of the poetry, everyone here has so much talent! My work is mostly in prose. I must say, it's a pleasure to meet you and read your work

Dusk - You may indeed call me Marge ...
This poet reads prose
so tell me where she goes,
to see a little side of you,
your prose to pose within my view.

Thank you, RobertB.
Funny thing to me ...
all I did was draw a circle
that included some great friends.
Now I reap the harvest of their pleasure.
Such fun !
