The Stars In My Eyes No Longer Shine ~Marge Tindal~ 1999 Somewhere in the night a star with all it's light... twinkles and shines and brings thoughts of you. When you were here and I held you near, you placed the light of the stars in my eyes for all others to see. Now that you're gone and I'm here alone, there is no light to be seen in my eyes filled with tears. When will you return so the light will again burn in these eyes now flooded with tears? Return as quickly as you can I long to see the light. ````````````````````````````````````````````` I swear, it's just a *STAR THANG* ! ------------------ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

Well it twinkles here ------------------ Yesterday is history, tomorrow just a mystery. And if today is good to me how could I ask for more? |

When I'm about, the stars do hide so come evening, I do abide somewhere else, for all to see so Marge, may star shine return to thee. |

Denise - Thanks for the 'shine' Sunshine - Like the 'sunshine' versus 'stars' Ruth - Thank you, my dear for such a nice compliment. ------------------ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

This is beautiful! I've missed that twinkle in my own eyes before.. I hope it's back in yours! Wonderful read, loved it ------------------ "'Cause there's a hunger, a longing to escape, from the life I live when I'm awake" - Creed - "Higher" |

Seymour - What a nice thing to say. Pepper - You're such a sweetie. Dusk Treader - Thank you. That was written on a 'Star Thang' night. My eyes are shining with love for all. ------------------ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

Thank you, VanDana~ Anything to do with the celestial bodies just 'talks' to me. Thanks for popping back in here and reading the earlier posts. I love to do that too. ~*Marge*~ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |
