Written In The Stars
~Marge Tindal~ 1999

As surely as the stars shine
on lovers here below,
there is a fact indisputable,
this much I know.

On the blazing tail of a shooting star,
the sparks spun from it's trace,
sending a light to guide me
to your loving face.

As we gaze at the glow
of the starry night,
surely it is meant ...
that we meet in the star light
of the moment we've been sent.

The moment is here,
the moment is now.
It's been written in the stars
that I find you, somehow.

Look upward toward the Heavens,
past the Milky Way ...
you'll see me in the stars
beckoning you, come and play!
`````````````````````````````````````````````
For Balladeer ...
Well, Marge, you sure know how to take an idea and run with it! Let's hope the FSU halfbacks can do the same tomorrow!
Tara - Thanks ... no, not the meteor shower,
just the stars in a new friends eyes.
Balladeer ... Here's wishing on a star !
Shooting stars - aren't they great as metaphors? Very nice work, Marge...
Star gazing is a favorite activity of mine. I don't know any constellations, but ohhh, they are so beautiful just to look at against the black sky!
Thank you Joy14.
Knowing their beauty is all that's required.
Pick a star
and make a wish ...
it just might come true.
You can name it anything you want
and it will twinkle at you.
