A link to link was slowly clinging I was beginning to submerse I fell in love and kept on falling The time was crawling in reverse The fall has blessed me with a curse It planted verses in my chest My soul—enthralled began to sink I was obsessed and couldn’t think Not knowing what the day might bring I welcomed winter... Without a rest, I swayed and lingered, While being banded to my nest I saw a road, and yet I hindered Anticipating in a worry The blurry figure of the spring |
