sailing takes me away, from where i want to be. struggling with the issues of life, takes me through emotions. i need to escape and get away, to sail upon the ocean. the peace i find, when i set sail, ever further from the land. the waters, oh, so blue, the wind, my guiding hand. control the boat, my destiny, the wind picks up the sail. life is breathed into it, i pray i should not fail. drifting out so far away, the dolphins by my side. neptune's magic kingdom, is where i come to hide. my boat awaits for my return, ever longing to be free. to cast away the anchor rope, and sail out to the sea. me. 11-16-99 |

Beautiful Mojar...This is such a wonderful poem. I think we all have a place we want to go or that we do go to to take us away and get away from our everyday pain. Thank you for sharing this beautiful poem with us! ------------------ ~*~ Time erases and rewrites all the lines. What remains is the poetry! ~*~ |
