My Dearest One, I miss you as the stars would miss the skies, as candy would miss the caress of children's hands. I long to hold you and look deep into your eyes and see the love that radiates there from your heart. My presious one, I need to feel your arms enfolding me, the touch that shelters me from all of sorrow's pain. With every breath I take I feel my heart beating like a drum counting the moments until you return. If I could feel your lips upon by brow and on my cheek then I would lay me down and dream in perfect sleep. I love you so............. Forgive me Love, there's someone at the door. ------------------ Yesterday is history, tomorrow just a mystery. And if today is good to me how could I ask for more? This is great, Ohme. Reminds me of "My love for you is higher than the mountains, deeper than the oceans, stronger than a magic spell...and I'll be over tomorrow if it doesn't rain". Good poem. |

Oh, Balladeer, you are certainly no romantic. If I should ever write such a letter, I would hope the message could be delivered personally as soon as the door was opened!! But of course, ....happens too. LOL ------------------ Yesterday is history, tomorrow just a mystery. And if today is good to me how could I ask for more? Ohme ... I just KNEW he was at the door. I was running to open it for you. It's just perfectly romantic. ------------------ ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |

Marge, It's something that can happen if dreams come true. Thanks for the reply. Denise, it's one of those poems that you have to finish in your own mind. In my mind I wanted to believe. Thanks for the remark. ------------------ Yesterday is history, tomorrow just a mystery. And if today is good to me how could I ask for more? |

Oh, poor Balladeer, Ohme hurt his feelings. Let me pour healing salve on the wounds to heal the pain. LOL Michael, I started to finish the poem by stating why the letter was unfinished. Truth of the matter, I didn't even know! LOL could it be that sometimes what looks like true love isn't? ------------------ Yesterday is history, tomorrow just a mystery. And if today is good to me how could I ask for more? |
