Christmas Woes

At a time to rejoice
The birth of the savior
To know that he died
Forgiving our sins

There are so many alone
There are so many sad
There are so many in need
There’s so many who have it bad.

In this, the richest of nations
Where wealth is abundant
There's so many that are in need
Yet I am unable to help

My heart is heavy today
Knowing someone so sad
My soul weeps streaming tears
For a friend who’s soul is troubled

I am a rescuer from birth
And I am not able to help
I can’t give hope or wealth
To that family I know

Watch over them God
If you truly exist
I ask not for myself
To them, bestow Your gifts

Let their hearts lighten
From Life’s burdens
Let them feel love again
And give them compassion

Christmas: A joyous time
Not for those in need
Not for those who can’t help
Give to them peace with hope

for granting peace with yourself.

Is there a God?  Oh yes indeed there is! Does he hear you and your worries for those others?  He certainly does!  What can you do to help? PRAY!  For that is not the least we can do for someone, but PRAYER is the most we can do!  That is what you can give!

Startin_Fresh -

What we give to others is what we give of ourselves ... love, hope and friendship.
We can change the world ...
one heart at a time.
Your heart is in the right place ...
God hears your prayers.

Beautiful sentiments ... know that
God answers prayers.

Seems I can't say anything except to echo the previous replies!

Nail to the mast her holy flag,
Set every threadbare sail-
And give her to the god of storms,
The lightning and the gale!
