Poet's Candles Flicker
~Marge Tindal~ 1999

The candle burns low
the wick almost gone
melted wax
embossed
with
poets name
drawn to page
like moth
to flame
burned brightly
flickering
to life
time
and
time again

*This was originally posted as a reply
to Ron's ... 'One Last Poem'.
The flame flickers and returns,
reminding us all that we poets
burn with words to share.
Merry Christmas to all of you.

Thanks again, my friend.
Ron deserves the 'toast' ...
may we all continue to flicker
to life on the pages of Passions.

Beautiful. So few words and such emotion carried. Thank you.

We are, nameless, I-men, striving far above the beggars notion of spare change and spartan motion(less the discipline, of course, and honor too)
