The Full Length Mirror The full length mirror reflects an unattractive image. A body lost for lack of willpower. The powerful mind behind the image knows the consequences of failure yet cannot seem to connect freely. A once beautiful temple of youth now drowning in a sea of self abuse. Where's the full length mirror of illusion? Is it floating in my mind denying me the reflection of truth, or is the truth the reflection I see? |

If only that mirror could reflect From within. A state of mind is shattered As a glass mirror before us. The solution lies within as well... To be at peace with "Who we are" On the inside... The outside will always Reflect that. Being at peace Is the challenge... To that end, we must strive..... ![]() [This message has been edited by Nan (edited 12-22-1999).] |

I agree with Elizabeth in the fact that most people probably think like that. I get that way sometimes so I felt this poem. --A Little Fairy-- |

I avoid mirrors at all costs! hehehehehe...great poem, Gloria! I like that bible verse...how does it go...beholding as in a mirror His glory...something like that (I'm lousy at memorizing) Now that is the reflection worth viewing! Our true selves! Great poem, again, Gloria! ![]() Denise |
