Restless Soul How can I ever love again, After losing all that's dear? And how can I trust once more, When it's every emotion I fear? Is it possible to give all of myself, When it's only resulted in pain? To give myself completely to another, When in the past it's all been in vain. Can there be a love so strong, That would get me through the night? And show me that there is some hope, That out of the dark, there's light? My heart tells me this can never be so, I feel destined to this life I lead... Of a broken heart, and restless nights, My soul reaching out in need. I fear that forever will be filled with questions. And the answers I may never know. I fear that I may never again have a love so true, For all the love I had, was given to you. |

A bit of a confusion on this particular entry. Normally I write under my penname "Travis", but my userid was lost. But were back on track again as Travis, and if you like can find more of me there. =) Hope you enjoy. |

Glad I didn't miss this lovely sad poem. Yes, it's miraculous how God designed us to heal over time, and future love is taken more seriously, grows more slowly and deeper, becoming richer and richer with time. |
