When slumber claims you,
go counting sheep.
I will come to you
softly in your sleep.

A dream so real
you'll wonder upon awakening,
if it was for real
or just a dream you were making.

You'll rise and look around,
sure that I must have been there.
You'll know that I am pleased
by the smile that you wear.

Of course I was there.
How else could I have known,
that the smile you are wearing
is one of my own?
