for traveler You are ... The first ray of the dawn Not quite of gold, but silvered in the mists Whose breath becomes the dew On waking blooms. You are ... The brightness of the noon Wherein the sun embraces all below With gracious, loving arms That warm the soul. You are ... The twilight's rainbow hues An iridescence splashed across the sky That captivates my gaze With breathless awe. You are ... The quietude of night A gentle peace that overlays my world While sweetest dreams of you Await the dawn. ------------------ "Nunc lento sonitu dicunt, morierus" Now as I hear this bell tolling softly for another, it says to me, "Thou must die." Thank you Systematic and dsnyder, for the compliments . I am not one who tends toward non-rhyme, so this was a bit of a stretch for me. And hoot -- yes, he is! Nocht |

Well, let me assure you, you stretched it perfectly ------------------ I look forward to tomorrow, while looking back on the past. But today is the day I am living. And I expect it to be a great day! |
