I felt so alive that day
I can’t hide the fact that I’ve fallen for you
For very much longer anyway
You see my heart is very tender
It was actually ripped to pieces once,
I just stood there, looking down at the tattered remains
wondering if I’d ever be the same, and now I know.
Of course I know....because of you....
I felt so alive that day
My heart had found a way to heal itself
You didn’t know it at the time
At the time you were so unaware that you were the reason
I felt so alive
You just smiled,
And I smiled inside.

This poem is sad but yet beautiful, for hope is still there and love can be born again. I understand your heart being cut to pieces...I have been there and done that!

Welcome to passions!
