The blanket of night will arrive with thunder,
and descend on NZ and try to plunder,
the last wisps of light that came down from the heavens,
and because of that crime we can't find our bearings.

The eve of the weekend is now upon us,
the light of the moon has indeed shown us,
the way home, safe to our beds,
so I can nod off, Goodnight sleepyhead.

Andy -
Another charmer is what
you have written.
Enjoyed it much.
Sleep well.

Well, since you are already asleep I will say good morning!

You're a great poet for an 11 year old you know (even if you do steal green milk...
just joking   )

Hold it - hold it!   Did someone say you're 11 years old?  Gees, you certainly are a splendid poet for such a young age!  I can't wait to see what you write like in another 10 years!  LOL  You have a fabulous way with rhyming indeed!  Splendid vocab too!  Keep on writing, definately!  BRAVO
