I've watched my innocence slip away The memories holding tight Each day moves by, each stocking hung Reminding me in hindsight I wonder how it happened, when Before I saw some light I only know that now I see My lonliness at night I want to feel the presence of My soulmate at my side A person who will stay with me No matter how the tides My sadness fills the hours of The day and night that comes I only hope to find myself And show you of my love |

A wonderful wish, I think. "Glory remains unaware of my neglected dwelling where alone I sing my tearful song which has charms only for me." -Charles Brugnot |
