Perhaps they've gone at last not to return Again to greet with kiss of fairest kind To weave their magic charms that quell the yearn That burning churn within the soul and mind. Perhaps they've gone away just as they came Clandestinely, unbidden, unannounced Their going simply may be just the same Might be they flee as fast as once they pounced. Perhaps they only visit for a spell Unwilling to be chained by time or space Alas, perhaps they cannot longer dwell Without a loss to them of fairest grace. Perhaps tomorrow we shall meet again Upon my paper flowing from my pen. Denise |

Well, Sonnet Poet - I don't think they would be gone for long! Their elusiveness makes them all the more satisfying - wonderful words. |

Well done, Denise. Back they come...they always do but who knows what kind of mood they'll be in? |

Denise - LOVELY ! Captured again within the pen Colored with the poets ink to make us sigh and then to make us think ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

Denise, send your muse my way dear, I could stand the inspiration "I am nothing special, of this I am sure. I am a common man with common thoughts and I've led a common life. There are no monuments dedicated to me and my name will soon be forgotten, but I've loved another with all my heart and soul, and to me , this has always been enough." ~Nicholas Sparks from The Notebook |

lovely poem, dsynder; although I think you don't have anything to worry about!! I've just emerged from a dry spell and know while it seems eternity while you haven't anything to write, the words are out there.... |
