Dreamed this place of awakely sleeping has captured me who holds the cup of fate in a coolly tipping hand? Choice is a slumbering word flushed red a dormant beauty with no reviving kiss I taste truths bitter-mouthed and swallow so night blinded the moon is just a firefly while heart-clouded I sleep through walking where is my waking? "Choice is a slumbering word", wow! Severn you are so full--you bleed originality. In the dew of little things, the heart finds its morning and is refreshed. (ee cummings) |

Hey, lady! You wanna buy a magazine....or create one? Another A for excellence, Severn. To the world you might be just one person but to one person you might just be the world. |

Lovely, Severn. Also kinda depressing. Choice is awake, even if only in moments.... I would love to see a contradictory poem about this from you!! |

A fabulous poem. Perfect wandering material. But no reviving kiss? Can choice slumber on - even as the words which surround it breathe warmth into it? |

Severn - Quite an awakening here. You are a remarkable young woman. I like the presentation of this. Chin up ! I care ! ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ [email protected] |

And should you wake, what of then? Waking is not necessarily a wonderful thing... at times, it is more painful than the dream. |

Nan - Thankyou, I do appreciate it! Liz - you are too sweet, and I'm already thinking of the flight (when I'm a rich and famous poet - not a poor student! LOL) Balladeer - come and take the place of all my tutors...I.F.F guy. Sea - a challenge it would seem. I may just take you up on that... Seward...I don't know, you tell me! A fabulous reply indeed. Marge - your caring gives me strength at this difficult christmas time. Thankyou. Knight - your wow is gratefully received, thankyou!!! Chris - I know. Ruth - Thankyou my friend. That is a lovely thing to say. Theraaven - Thankyou, one day it will. K [This message has been edited by Severn (edited 12-12-1999).] |

What can I say that hasn't been already said? I hate coming late to the party! Severn, I've felt this way and more, beautiful thoughts from a wonderful soul The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there IS to celebrate. ~Isis~ (Daughter of Mystery) |
