Totally Archeological ~Marge Tindal~ 1999  Through the layers of life on earth an archeological find Layer upon layer of the earth that was long before and now after our time At the core the heat of heart always beating true The layers of history hanging in the balance The days of Pompeii layered for all to see Digging toward the sky Indian relics lay in store Under layers of blood red clay sealed forevermore The relic bones of dinosaurs who walked the earth with ease The Lost City Of Atlantis squeezed in for all to see Aztec stones moved with ease poised for all to merely see Egyptian tombs of King Tutankhamen lined with all that gold Mother Earth coughs up stories of legends to be told To the 20th century why it's totally bombastic ! A layer of life simply filled with everything made of plastic ! Bio-degradable or degradation ? The layer of earth reveals only what we leave for archeological appeal ~*The pen of the poet never runs out of ink, as long as we breathe.*~ noles1@totcon.com |
