First, let me apologize for my absence of late.  I have been really ill this past week.  I hope it's not to late to post my challenge poem for WhtDove.

The Twelve Days Of Christmas

On the first day of Christmas my true love gave to me:
A poetic playground to share our dreams of love.

On the second day of Christmas my true love gave to me:
Two faiths - sharing God, above,
And a poetic playground to share our dreams of love.

On the third day of Christmas my true love gave to me:
Three well needed email laughs,
Two faiths - sharing God, above,
And a poetic playground to share our dreams of love.

On the fourth day of Christmas my true love gave to me:
Four old photographs,
Three well needed email laughs,
Two faiths - sharing God, above,
And a poetic playground to share our dreams of love.

On the fifth day of Christmas my true love gave to me:
Five floating kisses,
Four old photographs,
Three well needed email laughs,
Two faiths - sharing God, above,
And a poetic playground to share our dreams of love.

On the sixth day of Christmas my true love gave to me:
Six seductive wishes,
Five floating kisses,
Four old photographs,
Three well needed email laughs,
Two faiths - sharing God, above,
And a poetic playground to share our dreams of love.

On the seventh day of Christmas my true love gave to me:
Seven days on a sea cruise,
Six seductive wishes,
Five floating kisses,
Four old photographs,
Three well needed email laughs,
Two faiths - sharing God, above,
And a poetic playground to share our dreams of love.

On the eighth day of Christmas my true love gave to me:
Eight days a week worth of good news,
Seven days on a sea cruise,
Six seductive wishes,
Five floating kisses,
Four old photographs,
Three well needed email laughs,
Two faiths - sharing God, above,
And a poetic playground to share our dreams of love.

On the ninth day of Christmas my true love gave to me:
Nine sexy strip-teases,
Eight days a week worth of good news,
Seven days on a sea cruise,
Six seductive wishes,
Five floating kisses,
Four old photographs,
Three well needed email laughs,
Two faiths - sharing God, above,
And a poetic playground to share our dreams of love.

On the tenth day of Christmas my true love gave to me:
Ten inch wolfers for my truck <-oops, lost my head, hmmm - let me think,...O.K.
Ten near fatal squeezes,
Nine sexy strip-teases,
Eight days a week worth of good news,
Seven days on a sea cruise,
Six seductive wishes,
Five floating kisses,
Four old photographs,
Three well needed email laughs,
Two faiths - sharing God, above,
And a poetic playground to share our dreams of love.

On the eleventh day of Christmas my true love gave to me:
Eleven months next year, together,
Ten near fatal squeezes,
Nine sexy strip-teases,
Eight days a week worth of good news,
Seven days on a sea cruise,
Six seductive wishes,
Five floating kisses,
Four old photographs,
Three well needed email laughs,
Two faiths - sharing God, above,
And a poetic playground to share our dreams of love.

On the twelfth day of Christmas my true love gave to me:
Twelve times eternity and forever..
Eleven months next year, together,
Ten near fatal squeezes,
Nine sexy strip-teases,
Eight days a week worth of good news,
Seven days on a sea cruise,
Six seductive wishes,
Five floating kisses,
Four old photographs,
Three well needed email laughs,
Two faiths - sharing God, above,
And a poetic playground to share our dreams of love.

God has truly blessed me this year.  I wish to thank all my friends here, you are my true family, and especially you, Gennifer (my true love), who started it all by offering me a playground where I didn't have to be afraid to be myself.  Merry Christmas everyone.

Michael

Oh Michael!  So nice to see you spreading
some Christmas cheer!  I loved this, it is so "us"...
Brought back some really nice memories of
how "we" got started.  I do believe someone else
was pushing us into eachother's paths, because
we were certainly not ready to meet someone!
I thank God above that this will be your last
Christmas there alone.  I'm just anticipating our trip
in January...after that, we have eternity.  Love you!

Sounds like the nearly perfect Christmas...I say nearly perfect because perfect will come next year when you are both together, and wake Christmas morning to find the most wonderful gift lying next to you!

Beautifully done, Michael, as always!

Have a lovely holiday!
